The 2022 Kawasaki KLX300SM is a lightweight supermoto motorcycle designed for riders seeking agile handling, everyday practicality, and exhilarating performance on paved roads. Powered by a 292cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder four-stroke engine, the KLX300SM delivers smooth, responsive power and excellent fuel efficiency, making it ideal for urban commuting, weekend rides, and twisty backroads. Its Digital Fuel Injection (DFI®) system provides crisp throttle response and reliable performance in a variety of riding conditions.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, offering a wide gear range for comfortable city riding and highway cruising. Built on a lightweight semi-double cradle frame, the KLX300SM provides balanced handling and confidence-inspiring stability for riders of all experience levels.

Unlike the dual-sport KLX300, the KLX300SM features 17-inch spoked wheels, supermoto-specific suspension tuning, and a larger 300mm front petal disc brake, delivering enhanced cornering performance and stronger braking on pavement. A 43mm inverted cartridge front fork and Uni-Trak® rear suspension provide a comfortable ride while maintaining precise control.
