Powered by a 450cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke single-cylinder engine, the YZ450F delivers exceptional power, strong torque, and race-winning performance across the entire rev range.

The engine features Yamaha's innovative reversed-cylinder design, titanium valves, fuel injection system, and lightweight internal components, providing excellent throttle response and broad, usable power. A 5-speed transmission and lightweight chassis help maximize acceleration, cornering performance, and rider control on demanding motocross tracks.

For 2025, Yamaha updated the suspension settings, rear linkage, and front engine mounts to improve stability, traction, comfort, and front-end feel. Premium KYB® fully adjustable suspension components continue to provide class-leading handling and bump absorption.
